Things to do on Long Island for Valentine’s Day

    How many ways can you show your loved ones how much you truly care? When jewelry and flowers just aren’t special enough…. Here are a few ideas to spark some creative moments and make this a holiday to remember! If you have a sitter, consider one of the following nights out with dancing, dinner or drinks.

    The Ward Melville Heritage Organization Educational & Cultural Center, located in Stony Brook Village Center, Main Street on the Harbor, presents Dinner & Dancing with “The Rat Pack” at 7 p.m. . Enjoy a romantic evening of dinner and dancing with singer and entertainer Joey B., the “Man of a Thousand Voices.” With his six-octave range, he’ll do renditions of songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Dean Martin. $75 per person. Seatings at 6 & 8 p.m. After hors d’oeuvres, wine & beer in the Memorial Wing, there’s a brief tour through the living quarters. Dinner in the Northport Dining Room Porch.
