    • Enjoy Holiday Events in Port Jefferson!

Port Jefferson shines this holiday season with wonderful holiday events the whole family can enjoy! I'm excited to be sponsoring a Victorian home in the lantern-lit tour during the 17th Annual Charles Dickens Festival! The festival runs November 30 through December 2. Come see the home I've sponsored at 204 Myrtle Avenue! It is the home of William and Kathianne Snaden, and is known historically as the Captain Lewellyn Tuhill House, built in 1890. The home has been decorated by professional designer Lisa Aeillo and the Than Girls. They have done a fantastic job and I can't wait for everyone to see it! There will also be piano entertainment during the tour, provided by Port Jefferson residents and middle school students.

    • Volunteers Needed for Storm Relief Efforts

As recovery continues after Superstorm Sandy, there's much work to be done, and many needs to be met. I am passing along important information I received from Barbara Ransome at the Chamber of Commerce, who received it from Chuck Schwartz at LI Green. The following info includes immediate volunteer opportunities, as well as resources available for affected residents. Please help where you can, and please share this message.

    • Santa Says, Shop Locally in Port Jefferson!

The charming streets of historic Port Jefferson would not be the same without our variety of unique shops and restaurants! Our local merchants have been challenged by Superstorm Sandy, and now more than ever, your patronage matters to the health of Port Jefferson's economy.
